FONPAA President Hon. Abba Anas Adamu Dies, Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni Association Mourns

The leadership of the Forum of Nigerian Polytechnic Alumni Association has been thrown into mourning following the death of its President, Hon. Abba Anas Adamu, a development described as a painful loss to the polytechnic alumni community across Nigeria.

Reacting to the tragic incident, the Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni Association expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the FONPAA President, extending heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and members of the national alumni body.

In a condolence message signed by the Pro-tem President of the association, Engr. Abu Salami, the late Hon. Abba Anas Adamu was described as a committed leader whose contributions to the advancement of polytechnic alumni welfare and national development would not be forgotten.

According to the statement, the deceased served with dedication and passion, providing purposeful leadership for FONPAA while championing the interests of polytechnic graduates and strengthening alumni engagement across the country.

“The passing of Hon. Abba Anas Adamu is a painful and unfortunate loss to the entire polytechnic alumni family in Nigeria. His leadership, commitment, and service to humanity will remain a source of inspiration to many,” the statement noted.

The association further lamented the violent circumstances surrounding his death, condemning the act and calling for justice while urging relevant authorities to strengthen efforts toward ensuring improved security of lives and property.

The Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni Association prayed for divine comfort for the bereaved family and members of FONPAA, while asking God to grant the deceased eternal rest.

The statement emphasized the need for members of the alumni community to uphold the ideals and vision championed by the late leader, noting that his legacy of service and commitment to education and alumni development should continue to inspire future generations.
