Entrepreneurs, business owners and aspiring innovators gathered in Ilorin, Kwara State, on April 30, 2026, for the Business Growth Accelerator Conference themed “ENLARGE: NOW OR NEVER!” The high-impact event, held at St. Joseph Hall beside the Police Headquarters in GRA, Ilorin, provided a platform for participants to gain practical knowledge and access growth opportunities aimed at scaling their enterprises.
The conference featured a series of premium business masterclasses covering critical areas such as innovation, Taxation, bookkeeping and auditing. Facilitators emphasized the need for structured financial management and strategic planning as key drivers of sustainable business expansion in today’s competitive environment.
Participants were also exposed to a wide range of financial opportunities, including access to loans—with or without collateral—as well as asset financing options for vehicles, solar solutions, and other essential business tools. Organizers further highlighted initiatives such as the “Pay Small Small Laptop Scheme,” designed to improve digital access for entrepreneurs, and simplified processes for opening sole trader corporate accounts, even without Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration.
In addition to financial empowerment, the conference offered business development support through staff assistance programs for qualified enterprises, guidance on application processes, and onboarding opportunities for businesses to serve as host organizations. These initiatives also opened doors for fresh graduates seeking hands-on experience in the business ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, key facilitators including Hon. Ishaq Sa’ad, President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Kwara State chapter, and Mr. Shola Oyedokun, MD/CEO of Truce Consultants, stressed the importance of resilience, innovation, and adaptability in navigating current economic realities. They encouraged participants to take bold steps toward expansion and leverage available opportunities.
The conference was hosted by Chris K. Oshundun, with Faith Oshundun serving as co-host, alongside other notable facilitators who contributed to the success of the program.
