NACCIMA PRESIDENT JANI IBRAHIM EMERGES FEWACCI PRESIDENT.

The National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, has been elected President of the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI).

Ibrahim emerged President of the regional business organisation following a keenly contested election.

His election was announced by the NACCIMA Secretariat in a statement dated September 28th, 2026.

The new FEWACCI President will lead the federation, which brings together chambers of commerce and business interests across the West African region.

His emergence marks a new responsibility for the NACCIMA President at the regional level, placing him at the forefront of efforts involving business communities across West Africa.

The election also highlights the participation of Nigeria’s organised private sector in regional business leadership through NACCIMA.

FEWACCI serves as a platform for chambers of commerce and industry within West Africa to engage on issues affecting businesses and regional economic activities.

Ibrahim’s election comes as West African businesses continue to seek stronger cooperation and opportunities for trade and investment across the region.

NACCIMA described the development as a significant achievement for its leadership with the association announcing the news to its members and stakeholders.

The association said more details about the election and the new FEWACCI leadership would be made available shortly.
