FG CONFIRMS ADEMOLA ADESOKAN AS SUBSTANTIVE PRESIDENT OF NATIONAL CASHEW ASSOCIATION.

The Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment has officially confirmed Mr. Ademola Adesokan as the substantive President of the National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN).

According to a confirmation letter issued by the ministry and addressed to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of NCAN, the Federal Government approved the recognition of Adesokan’s election as the duly elected president of the association.

The ministry’s decision formally validates the outcome of the association’s electoral process and reinforces its commitment to promoting stability and effective leadership within commodity-based organisations in the country.

With the confirmation, Adesokan is expected to steer the affairs of the National Cashew Association of Nigeria and work with stakeholders across the cashew value chain to strengthen production, processing, marketing and export activities in the sector.

Industry observers believe the development will provide the association with the needed leadership to advance policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s competitiveness in the global cashew market.

The National Cashew Association of Nigeria serves as the umbrella body representing stakeholders in the country’s cashew industry and plays a key role in promoting sustainable growth, improving market access and advocating policies that support the development of the sector.
